What we collect

  1. Name, email address, WhatsApp number.
  2. Selfie photo for KYC verification.
  3. Listing details submitted by FlatHosts.
  4. Payment screenshots for manual verification.

What we do with it

  1. Selfie is used only for manual verification by Yaardost admin. It is never shown publicly.
  2. WhatsApp number is never shown on the platform. It is shared only after a payment is verified.
  3. RoomYaar's WhatsApp number is shared with FlatHost only when RoomYaar has marked interest and FlatHost has paid to unlock. RoomYaars consent to this at signup.
  4. Payment screenshots are used only to verify transactions and deleted after confirmation.
  5. We do not sell, share, or trade any user data with third parties.

Data deletion

Email support.yaardost@gmail.com to request deletion of your account and associated data. Processed within 7 working days.

Security

All data is stored on encrypted infrastructure with secure connections. Payments happen via UPI directly. Yaardost never stores your UPI ID, bank details, or payment credentials.
